Same as in the fall of 1979 - month and week built. They don't have to be unique or any different. The body number would be much higher in your case. Perhaps some research on the 1969 model year GM F-body - which had an extended production into November 1969 - might confirm that.fyrftr50 wrote:Since 1980 was an extended model year with 1980 cars built into the fall of '80, what would there trim tag codes say?

fyrftr50 wrote: My black Spyder has 08E on the trim tag and on the door jam it was built 08/80 but where on the trim tag would you differentiate from an 08/79 and an 08/80 built 1980 model?
fyrftr50 wrote: Especially since further reading of my trim tag states 50-9757, which, if I recall correctly, means mine was built on the 50th day of production, schedule #9757??? That doesn't make sense, certainyl built well after 50 production days.

Im assuming the LOA stands for los angeles, but thats just a guess. The original paint under the red is green. This car was delivered/sold through a dealership in flagstaff arizona, see pic. I think the dealership badge is kinda neat
