Purchase Order

Postby Soupy » Sat Jan 09, 2010 8:32 pm

As some of you may or may not know.. My Cosworth #1036 is a family heirloom... My Grandfather was the original owner then it was passed on to my Father and then on to me in '04.. I was looking through some papers that my Mother sent me today and I came across the Original Purchase Order.. I think its a cool piece of paperwork to go with the car considering it is in original condition with just over 3,700 miles..

Hey thats cool. It would be interesting if there was a date on it, and if you had the date from your buildsheet...to see approximately how long it took from dealership order to production...

My monza was produced on may 22nd 1978 and underwent PDI at the dealership about 2 week's later on June 6th 1978.

the purchase order date is 8-12-75.. I still have yet to find a build sheet for it... I'm afraid that my Cosworth may be the one that they cleaned out instead of throwing all the paperwork in..

Check behind the passenger seatback if it has a plastic backing..

I've also read about one in a frame rail above a gastank...on the cvoa website.
