I need 2 White ones. The back ones are in great shape. I am also looking for some White plastic interior panels and a blue dash.

Vega deluxe seats are same as camaro. Vega standard are different.
The only Vega's that only had a little rust were the ones still on the assembly line.

The Classic Industries part number you reference has the correct pattern:

Here's an image from Year One for a 71-73 Camaro:

But, here's a picture of a 72 Camaro Interior - yah, it'll do.

I just want to be sure I understand this right, from 71-77, the Vega shared the same seat style as the same year Camaro of the same year as long as they were the deluxe seats?

Rear seats the same? From the site your reference for the pic, they look pretty darn close. Probably not as I don't remember the rear Camaro seat being a fold down type.

Thanks,
Ken

This topic has been discussed so many times over the last few years. There should be one long thread for all this.

I agree, but the problem that I have seen is one person will state they are different, the next person will say they are the same, and on and on. I would like to get the definitive final answer. Knowing this would have saved me some money as I had my 72 seats recovered by a local shop that created the covers from scratch. Reason I did this was because of a post that stated that the Camaro seat covers didn't fit the Vega. I did a quick search and couldn't find that one, but I believe it was posted in General Discussion some time ago.

One more good reason to update the FAQ. The current H-Body FAQ is so full of incorrect/incomplete/outdated info it is almost not much help anymore.

I think the rear seat upholstery in the Camaro has one more pleat than the Vega as stated in one of the elusive posts here on h-body.org.

No, the same year Camaro upholstery is not always the same as the same year Vega. Later Camaro models had different upholstery.
You can do a comparison on nastyz28 or other Camaro websites with the Vega brochures on the h-body.org FAQ.

Hmmm... these old threads seems to disagree -

The editor of Cosworth Vega Magazine wrote an article (Issue #96, First Quarter 2009) on recovering front seats. He used covers for a '76 Camaro (for the correct color) ordered from National Parts Depot. They fit with no modifications.

The rear seat, however is unique to the Vega and a Camaro cover won't fit without modification.

If the Camaro covers aren't in the correct color or fabric, Original Auto Interiors in Columbus, MI (originalauto.com) has all kinds of OEM available for your upholsterer to sew together. They had the correct cloth and vinyl to match my Cosworth seats.

Okay, beat me up, as I am new to Vegas. I have a '78 Monza wagon, and that seems to confuse parts houses ands general people. When I say Vega wagon, they say, "Oh yeah, I know what you mean". When I order some parts. I just tell them 76 Vega Wagon. I need seat covers, and I have been reading posts related to this subject. My seats do not have the 4 buttons on the upper back. They seem to closely resemble 1980 Vinyl Berlinetta.
Actually, my seats are in overall good shape except that one tear and the upper backs need to be re-sewn. If I thought the was a fix for that vinyl rip, I would keep and use the original seat covers.
