Location of bullet mirrors?

Postby 67shovel » Thu Sep 29, 2011 8:31 am

I'm adding a couple of Vega bullet mirrors (I'd guess their 76's)to my 73 GT wagon. I can just place them where they seem to look good/right but I'd like it if someone would measure theirs.
How far down to the forward tip of the mirror gasket from the top of the door and how far back from that same point forward to the door edge.
Thanks,
Roger

The only Vega's that only had a little rust were the ones still on the assembly line.

Yes. Should be same location. The template works off of the front corner of the door. You should be able to invert it for both sides.
