I saw that photo, it's unclear, but from what ive seen, they look to be a decal. I have 3 of the 74-75 emblems.

When I saw this thread, I was thrown off for a second; I thought vegavairbob was back. Most of his posts and threads were deleted when he had his meltdown. I can't remember his reaction to my statement about wanting to put a V8 in my "rare" Estate Wagon, but I imagine it was negative.
I also don't remember if he quit or was banned.

Thanks for the great information. I guess my 1978 Pontiac Sunbird Safari falls in with the 75 Vega Estate as a very rare wagon. I really enjoy the old car, and the original iron Duke runs out great.

I had a Sunbird Safari wagon for a winter beater for a couple of years back in the early 90's. But it had the V6/5-speed drivetrain; it actually was pretty quick.
