I believe those are Old Hydrolic Motoman Robots!, If they are they were very very scary to work around, High Force and very little safeguarding, Unlike the new Computer Controled Models.

... or Uni-Mats. They are very similar in design.
We had the Uni-Mats in Oshawa. Noisiest damn things in the whole bloody plant.
