what window sealant was used at GM assembly plant on monzas ?

did they use ribbon sealer ? ( a bead of sealant on a roll with wax backing ) still made by 3M

or did they dispense a urethane like product from a tube ?

If you are talking about the sealant around the front, rear and quarter windows, I am pretty sure it is just butyl ribbon. I have parted out a few Monza's, and all of them appeared to use this.
