So if i am wanting to run side pipes wouldn't the Don Hardy headers work best since they kick out toward the side?

LS based engine headers in a monza = :cuss: :bang:

Then I got adventurous and built my own for about $350. They are a royal pain to install (engine must come out), but plug changes are easy

Sanderson's confusing number system explained for gen 1 sbc headers. Basically, the passenger side header changes for angle plug heads.

V6-Vortec 4.3 into a First Generation H-body info...There seems to be no "out of the box" header set that will fit. Stock S-10 4.3 Vortec exhaust manifolds WILL fit. A video exists up on "Ewe tube" (sic) that shows the dyno readings comparing stock manifolds to long and short header pipes that is highly informative.
