Bump for a great post with a lot of information if you are considering an LS motor.

Anything to add to this since it's been a year?

I noticed powerbyace.com is working on an lsx into h-body oil pan kit. I emailed them to ask if they were working on headers and they are. They appear to be similar to 2129's with the rear tube over the frame. This is the email response I got.

We are prototyping headers in conjunction with our LSx mounts and modified
oil pan. You cannot do an LSx swap correctly in an H Body without
modifying the cross member and steering or modify the correct oil pan and
pickup tube. It sits too high. We are designing 1 3/4 tube headers for the
correctly mounted engine position.
We have put the new oil pickup tube into production and will start
shipping all current orders Nov. 24th. We have some of the Oil pan mod
kits available and more are in progress.

Thank you
