Maybe aluminum rads should have a sacrificial element like a water heater has with it's anode? :idea:

MonzaRacer...I think I have problems because it's almost always 100* or hotter out here in Phoenix. I could be wrong though.

OK . . .Rad Radiator Readers and Writers!!!

Say that 3 times quickly<grin>I'm surprised that no one has said anything about the "dual pass" radiators. . . . Any serious contending "slide lefter" will tell you it is the only way to go. . . .for racing OR street applications.. . .

The only thing "stupid" about it . . .is that you have to make it look like a FORD. . .. on top.

I have a dual pass radiator and swival neck thermostat housing for my car. Seems like a smart idea but we'll see next summer in hte real heat.

last summer i took a spare monza rad i had for a v8 to a good rad shop, and they kept it the stock size but was able to recore it with a 4 core for $200 taxes in. Its hits 45C here in the summer and my 475hp 350. never sees anything over 180f my electric fans only cut in waitin for 20 min at a train...
