OK TO FIX THE WORN OUT WINDOW TRACK FELT LINED RUBBER USE - :arrow: J.C. WHINEY ON LINE CATALOG,,,,,,,,,, PART#-ZX 184878-N,,,,, :arrow: ORDER TWO IF YOUR REPLACING BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT.,,,TO INSTALL :arrow: START IT FROM THE END OF THE DOOR NEAR THE BOTTOM WHERE THE LOCK MECHANISM IS LOCATED AND COME UP AND MITRE THE CORNER AND HEAD BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR PUSHING IT UP WITH A SOFT WOOD OR PLASTIC WEDGE TOOL.,,,(5/16TH'S THICKNESS BY ONE INCH--- A PAINT STICK WILL WORK ) :arrow: IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE PUSHING IT IN,,, USE A "LITTLE" LIQUID DISH SOAP ON A RAG AND PUSH IT IN.,,(NOT EVERYBODY'S DOOR WILL NEED SOAP) :arrow: SOME THAT HAVE EXCESSIVE PRIMER AND PAINT WILL NEED HELP.,,,,, SOME WILL NEED SILICONE GLUE TO HOLD THE NEW RUBBER TO THE SLOT. :arrow: IF THEY GET LOOSE IN HOT WEATHER.,,,, REMOVE THE SOAP WITH WATER ON A RAG),,,, :arrow: (MY CAR DOOR WAS REPAINTED ONCE,,,, AND I DID NOT NEED SOAP),,,,,,, :arrow: CONTINUE TO THE END INSIDE THE DOOR.,,, THIS WILL LEAVE ABOUT A FOOT ON THE HINGE SIDE.,,, TO HANG DOWN.,,,(WITH OUT SUPPORT)OF THE DOOR'S SLOT. :arrow: BUT WHEN YOU ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW FOR A TEST.,,,, OR WHEN ADJUSTMENT'S ARE NEEDED LOOK THRU THE FRONT LOWER ACCESS HOLE IN DOOR AND YOU WILL SEE THE WINDOW FRONT EDGE GO DOWN INTO THIS FOOT HANGING DOWN. This is awesome information, mine literally crumbled last summer as I was trying to get my car ready to be painted. Its a relief to know what to use for this!!!

From what I have heard, DVV is a top notch supplier. Dave will talk your ear off when you call for information and orders.

If you go to the Order from Catalog tab and enter ZX184878N just like that it will pull up what you are looking for.

Dave is getting pretty low on these, I bought what might have been his last set for a TC. He said he had several more left for the Hatchbacks though.

When you mitred the corner at the back, did you cut it completely and refasten (glue or something) or were you able to just cut out some of the material to bend it in a 90 degree angle needed without bunching up?

answer for Brian's Question,,,,,As I remember I left enough to have strength at the mitre cut but I suposse you could cut the piece all the way through and mitre it and dab a tack of glue ,Sorry for not getting back to you sooner as I have been reading the april frist stuff with a little caution,,Mike 8)
