One i've been looking for since it sold 4 years ago in Alberta, would love to know the tire size. It had first gen rear steer camaro spindles/brakes, ford 9" and a 400sbc/t5.

I believe close to 100 cars competed, many high dollar cars, half didn't finish including a couple Mercedes. Cosworth #0008 finished the race.

The stance and wheels - ven the color - look like rustorbust's vega - but his has more "patina" very much sun faded paint on the hood and roof - also a "vega" black stripe down by the rocker panel. Maybe he painted it? Sold it ?

Damn, those cam lobes are so big they should probably be counter weighted. No wonder they vibrate like a paint can shaker.

Love that Nomad! that is a cool take on the classic meets Vega come lately! Does that car belong to anybody on here or is it a Photoshop job on somebodies Vega/Nomad (I can see grass through the windows in that pic so at least some of that is real) Harry
