Postby joseph lamb » Tue Sep 18, 2018 7:49 pm

good evening ,

Have a 1977 2.5L iron duke 151 4 cylinder in need of a new Harmonic Balancer and a new standard shift flywheel . Can anyone tell me if these parts might be the same as other GM engines and if they may be available as new , If not what can I do to get some good used components ???...need bellhousing also !!!

Thanks for the help , because of your help the Duke is on the way back!

Unless Tom has a spare or alternative, you can call these place and maybe they would part it off the engine they have.( Balancer-hub)

I couldn't locate anything new, not sure the "Y" hub and pulley off a cross flow motor is the same or a Nova 153 / Chevy inline 6 one is the same.

A bunch on http://www.car-part.com, ( bellhousing) gm part # 260162 Same as a cross flow 151, Tricountyautoparts has one listed , the same place as the intake you were looking for.

The fork and the stud are harder to find new, so try to get one with them included with the bellhousing.
