this article from 1978 wild world of street machines magazine has an article about a v8 chevy luv build that the the guy from powerbyace was involved with.

Update on the LS headers. (I'm still using them because I don't have a better option yet) The "ceramic" coating hasn't held up well at all. Rust was showing through in multiple places. Probably wasn't cured correctly, or isn't real ceramic coating. I sanded them down and painted them with VHT header paint to keep them from rusting out. I had them out because I'm swapping from a 6.0 to a 6.2, and FYI for anyone with a Gen IV block, the headers interfere with the passenger side knock sensor. I don't have any option but to try to relocate the sensor elsewhere on the block.
