This engine is abit different from the Iron Duke's in the H-Body cars. I think you should look into the Cifford Performance site for their parts. If you want to hop it up, just remember it's half of a 302. (Chevy type) It has a 4" bore and a 3" crank. The later engines have a roller cam and one piece rear main seal. If you can get one cheap enough try to get an early 3.0L marine engine to build. It may not be a cross flow but it does have big separate intake runners. These can be built mildly to 170 - 190 hp. They are basicly half of a 350. (just a little more) They have the same 4" bore but have a 3.6" crank. GM says a carb'ed engine is 140hp with 173 lb-ft torque. Some thing to think about.
