Testing fuel pump...

Postby marco_1978_spyder » Sat Jul 01, 2006 12:46 pm

Is it ok for the stock fuel pump to dry test it?

I have one that I wired up to check. It worked, but I wonder if that can seize the pump up.

It should be fine with anything under 5 seconds of running... more than that and it would begin to expand, heat up, and eventually seize/eat itself up.
