exhaust help

im putting new exhaust on my 76 vega hatch back. im going to be using hooker super comp headers with 3 in collectors. what size pipe should i use and what mufflers?

unless you have a 10 tenths car i'd stick with 2 1/2 '' or less . they are easier to work with if you want to stick with a stock type installations. you can mount twin Turbo muffs or 40 or super 40 or even the new 44 Flow Masters side by side up on end.

Flowmasters are way too noisy in our hatch back cars in my opinion.

i just picked up some turbo sonic 2-1/2 in mufflers brand new $25 for two.

I used Edelbrock stainless steel ones. They are the smaller case ones and I have them mounted side by side in the stock location next to the gas tank.
