header clearance

is anyone running allumun heads with the thicker deck. what did you do about header clearance at the spark plugs i have sanderson headers driver side is good but pass.side cain't get plugs in with headers on thanks wagonman

i have world heads and i had to change the first tube on the pass side so i could get at the plugs

I have Dart Pro1's. I had problems with the first tube on the passenger's side also.

Luckily I know someone who used to build headers for NASCAR. He cut the tube, lowered it about 1", and welded a new bend in at the top.
75 Pontiac Astre GT: 406SBC/TH350, roll bar, S10 goodies, down to 11.47 so far, more to come later.
