A destroked 350 will also yield a 331.

Yes Clyde but a 3.293" stroke crank sound a little pricey as it didn't come in a stock application 3.48" = 350 or 305, 3.25" = 327 or 307 3.1"=262, 3"=265 or 283 or 302 3.75" = 400 I was just showing the average 331 build up as the 302,327,and 350 all used a 4" block so a bored 327 is a destroked 350 with a cleanup on the bore. honestly the more I look at it the more I think I just got a 305 that's been freshened up, cylinder walls look like hone markings, I don't really wanna pop the heads but I'll try n peek in there or where ever to see if the pistons have a size stamped anywhere, just a old stock v8 is fine with me , I'm not racing, it's just gonna be loud, bright and have some GO! I may through it in the 2 annual car shows we have here, maybe a parade.... other than that I want it drivable for daily driving if I wanna pay for the fuel LOL

When I bought my first V8 Vega in the 70s, it had a 307 with a Z/28 solid-lifter cam. It scooted pretty well. Pretty much any V8 in something as light as a Vega will put a smile on your face.

You need a V8 Monza bell housing and clutch fork. The Saginaw will bolt right up to it.
