Pink- ignition
Purple- start
Blue- fuel pump
At rest(0 psi oil pressure) the pump is connected to the purple so there will be fuel during crank.
Once the engine is running(above 10-15 PSI of oil pressure) the blue connects to the pink and the pump runs as long as the key is on and the motor maintains oil pressure.

how can I by-pass this switch?

***my fuel pump quits working [COMES ON-OFF] when the engine gets HOT after 20+ minutes of driving.

I want to BY-PASS it and see if it is the OIL PRESSURE SWITCH

See other thread you started for explanation on how to TEMPORARILY bypass the switch. It is possible that when the engine heats up the oil gets thin enough to drop below whatever pressure the OEM switch is set for. If so, a new switch might not fix it. That would require a motor rebuild.

Does the oil light illuminate when the fuel pump quits? I had a similar problem starting last year. It turns out that the connectors in the plug had gotten sloppy and lost contact when it got warm. I squeezed the spade terminals in the plug to make better contact and fixed the problem.
