I saved the Vega page from Schneider Racing Cams website about 12 years ago.
If you can find or have one of these cams, you are boss.
For reference only - they no longer offer Vega cams.
This seems like a good thread to add it to. I know we have a really old thread on Vega performance stuff, but I couldn't find it - too old and dumb. Lazy, too.

I did a lot of 140 stuff in late 70's from my 75 monza 4 speed, I got tons of 140 stuff laying around, I got edelbrock 2bl intake and an offenhauser dual port intake 4bl if your interested. I still got this stuff. If still interested about info reply or email it's a long subject I spent a lot of time on, and I am still involved today. mikef391@aol.com

I to drooled over the vega IECO catalog as a 16/ 17 year old in the mid 70s. Did you ever buy the quench head with the welded combustion chambers? That looked like the ultimate mod for the 140. I wish I had money back then!

Mazda/ Ford Duratec 2.5 would be a cool swap, could work with a mazda miata 5 or 6 speed.

lol funny you mention IECO!!
I have one!! see the IECO vega build at
http://www.poustusa.com/
pix too of the inside stuff. part numbers etc.
I need to update the pix with the latest stuff that is updated on the car..
looking at injected for the next step.
45 dcoe webbers are fun.. but a pain to tune for strip day..
just like old fuel injection, a jet for every temp and humidity change.. if you want to be fast...

these days with the new computers you can dial in a 2 step injection super easy for drags...
go from 40 mpg to all out drag with a couple of key strokes.
