1978 formula hatch head gaskets

I am replacing the head gaskets in my formula sunbird. Shes a 78' with the 3.8l v6 engine. Is there a specific way to put my heads back on with the new gasket? Or a certain torque the bolts should be set to? Ive never replaced head gaskets before and dont want to mess this up! Thanks

Yes, there is a specific sequence to torque head bolts to the proper value. You should be referring to a GM service manual but here is one link
