For a street motor, good torque at a useable RPM range is more Important than big HP numbers at high RPM. I had Hooker 2135's on a 5500RPM 400 SBC in my old 76GT; it never felt like it was missing out on any power. I'm sure a Dyno would show a drop in peak HP with the 1.5" primaries, but as thay say "we don't drive dynos, we drive cars"..
