1972 vega headers

Postby andar » Fri Mar 13, 2015 7:42 pm

I have had the hooker headers for years, I installed some AFR 1054 aluminum heads on the my Chevy 350SB. I now find out they have a raised exhaust port and my headers won't fit . Has anyone had experience with installing the CC13 or headman headers on an after market head? Or will they just work on a factory head.

The Sanderson headers are available for many head/exhaust combo's but you have to order them that way. it seems that only v8monza.com is the only place I've seen with the suffix to designate the exhaust port design.
SAN-CC13V (Vortec) SAN-CC13A (Aftermarket) - Please Specify Type of Heads
From v8monza.com
http://www.v8monza.com/ click "catalog" and scroll down to "exhaust" for the complete break down. I've talked to Sanderson and the do sell the flanges only so you could do a little slice and dice and save the headers you have. Harry

Thank-you, I see that now. I talked to Sanderson today and they didn't seem to know anything about the other models. I will check with them again. They did talk about a D port header but I also need the flange to be higher or else my steering arm could be to close.

I have talked to Sanderson and they say they have a cc-13ap for angle plug but don't seem to have info on the aftermarket. I was wondering if anyone had experience with actually installing the Sanderson cc-13ap on a 350Sb that is in a 1972 vega. It has to be aftermarket aluminum heads.
Thanks
