From another thread in which I had found coolant in my oil I had my head pressure tested and checked for cracks..everything was fine, he did reseat the exhaust valves said they were not not sitting properly, , went to put it back together and the valve lashes were way too tight, so back to the machine shop to trim the stems, in the process the cam carrier gasket was damaged, so I order another gasket, also had to install new head gasket since I do not want to take any chances..

Now looking at the new head gasket I see one of the steam holes is missing in the gasket, will this cause a problem?? whats it purpose?? I could easily just poke a hole in the gasket but that would mean taking the head off again and installing a 4th gasket..but if its not a big deal I will just leave it..

I think I need to get my other head examined!

Can't help you with your present problem, but I got my head examined and the doctor found nothin'!
