1976 vega estate noise

thinking water pump bearings but not loosing any coolant. all other fluids fine. no change in sound (speed or pitch) with acceleration, gear change or braking. runs normal. any thoughts?

Jonez If it is, Water pump bearings it is likely that the fan will not turn true and pretty rare for the seal to not leak. I haven't heard of the pump noise not changing with engine speed changes, unless it has an electric pump. That brings me to believe that your noise [I can't distinguish it on the video I just don't hear like I used to :( ] is not governed by the engine making it something that is electric [constant speed]. Not much help Sorry but this may lead you to look closer at some other potential area. Harry
