I have been looking for a 1977-1980 Corvette Aluminum intake manifold torque specs for a cast Iron 350. I have seen from 11 ft lbs to 33 ft lbs. The 33 ft lbs must be for the stock cast iron manifold. I see aftermarket aluminum manifolds seem to require 25 ft lbs. This corvette aluminum intake is in a great shape, no cracks but I do not want to crack or warp it.

I have also seen reference to not tightening the end intake bolts as much as the center.

This is all on my 76 Monza.

For Gen 1- 12 bolt intakes, Felpro blue coated gaskets, 30 lbs.
RTV bead for sealing ends, ptfe type paste on the bolts in the water passages.
Use the blockoffs for the heat riser passages if the car will not be driven in the winter.
If possible let the RTV cure over night before running the engine, recheck the bolts after heat cycle.

Chevy 350 Vortec engines use the lower torque spec as they use 8 smaller vertical bolts and a different type of gaskets.
