Do you use a gasket/sealant here?

Postby vega_guy_76 » Tue Sep 05, 2006 6:42 pm

A friend and I are having a dispute over building the engine for my Monza right now. He says a gasket or sealant is required between the block and oil filter mount. I say it doesn't. My reasoning is I have torn apart and built several engines that never had, or used, anything between the two.

What do you do?
