Now that the body is pretty much completed and its time for the engine compartment to get some loving care..

Byron do you have the firewall reinforced where the 3 brake master cylinders go by chance? (something stitch welded on the inside perhaps?) The metal looks quite a bit thicker at that location.

Yes there is a metal plate behind the firewall....
There is duct tape covering the three holes in the photo..

That's got to be an older pic. It's missing the clearance for the throttle... Or is that little bump on the pic of the engine bay for something else? I discovered I'm going to have to modify the Corvette drive-by-wire pedal so it doesn't interfere with the steering column on mine. It' goes the other way!

Well, I gave up on the engine compartment this weekend....I jump in and modified the custom hood with heat extractors....

The vents are from an 2014-2015 Ford Mustang GT.
I still need to finish off the underneath side of the hood.....trying to blend it all in....
