I scraped out as much of the stuff as I could, took the air compressor and blew out the drain holes cleaned it up and put it back together. Hopefully it won't smoke so bad now. In fact I bet it will run better as soon as I put the new plugs in it, maybe this weekend.

well looks like that engine had only Pennzoil run through it. lol

Here's what else I've been working on.

Working on getting the interior in shape so that I can put it in the car and drive it. Its time to get the Mirage out and let it be seen!!!

Got to spend a little time on the Mirage this weekend. Finally got the front put together, still have some aligning to do with the gaps and stuff, but it looks like a Mirage finally.

Actually more time than anything. I don't have much $$$ to put into it with 3 kids, so I do things as creatively as I can.

Wow I forgot what fun these are to work on when they have A/C and the air pump on them. Took me 5 hrs to remove the A/C compressor, change the plugs and wires and R&R the valve cover on the passenger side. It too was all sludged up like the drivers side. Hopefully I got it cleaned up enough that the oill will drain back better. I will say that the miss is gone now so  for that!

Its licensed for the first time since 1986. I took the kids to get Ice Cream in it! What a blast! Only leak is one on the power steering, gotta let things cool off a bit before I can see if I can tighten up the line on the back of the pump.

Replaced the starter in the Mirage tonight, I must say the mini-starter went in a whole bunch easier than the stock one came out.... Just need to check the gap on the ring gear and button the exhaust back up and it'll be ready to go again!
