I would normally agree, but in this case they almost make the car look even smaller. Kind of like taking wheels from a 1/24 scale model and putting them on a 1/28 scale model.
My biggest fear would be rim damage.

Whoops, missed the question asking for an update.

Things have slowed down on construction a bit, but currently car body was re-primed in the black primer, and he's working on engine accessory brackets, and building dashboard. Once those are done, he plans on final fitting of things, then taking it all back apart to get painted.. Not sure on timeline for it but I'll check in with him..

Bad ass car. I agree about the chin spoiler, looks a little out of place.

The hood alone is a work of art. Very nice.

Sorry all, not much new to report, both my friend and I have been tied up with other projects so no time to work on cars..

He has finished up A/C and accessory brackets, and complete custom headers and 3 1/2 inch front to back stainless exhaust with electric cutouts that was sent out to be coated, and that's about it.

It's looking like maybe spring before getting back to any work on cars, depending on economy too.. :)

I dig those little marker lights in the front. What are they? I love the idea. Since I've swapped out most of my stock square lights for round ones I think the addition of little marker lights and swapping in driving lights would be really cool.

Those lights are aftermarket turn signals, not sure of brand.. Side markers are LED aftermarket as well...

And he's back to working on it again, so here some new pic's. Hard to believe how much time has passed since last posting.. Where does the time go?????
He's working on brackets for AC/Alternator, and then a whole slew of misc stuff to hopefully get ready to take apart and paint. Notice some of the details like the new hood latches, and how tight everything is under the chassis. The exhaust system looks awesome...
