Yeah, it would be a good spot for Ram Air, I think Monzaz (the rear end builder) has his car like that. And I have seen other's like that too, but. To me it just does not look right, especialy on a street car, it just looks, well... kind of odd.

Back on topic, Zeke your engine bay looks real good. I am not sure what to do with mine now, black or red? Previous owner of my car started the black bay, but red does look nice. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of your car turns out.

Thanx eh!

I've had black bays in the past, I'm bored of that look now, color is in! Tremclad red and black r both 35$ a gallon anyways.

Wife was from Cali, my 70 Camino came from Texas, Ontario plate was from my 70ss Chevelle and u can't see the South Carolina plate that was on my Monza. Still have them all except the Chevelle. Thats a 12 pack on the wall btw, six times 2 barrels.

Well, if ya think about it, six packs usually have three carb holes right?

Wind chimes r all in epoxy primer now.... tomorrow, some will go red and some black.

A couple more days and i'll be done with painting for a while, move onto the engine. Tough one will be the serpentine drive setup for small block, with a/c and without modifying the car. I'm not fucking with v belts on this car, i hate them with a passion. The short water pump makes it all the much more difficult and it has to be a lo buck mod, no custon billet pulley shit. Should be a challenge.

I couldn't remember if tall valve covers would work but I have about a half inch of clearance after this mock up and test fit of engine / trans. Don't worry 70ss, engine won't be red when finished.

I'm considering painting that brand new performer - black. I like these aluminum valve covers:
