if anyone is looking for a small diameter booster on the cheap, I think the original application for the 7" one is S-10. So when you're in the junkyard scrounging axles and front spindles, grab the booster as well.

Got the electronics and wiring tidied up, it's busy under there!

Major pain to slide the column with shaft back into place :cuss: Two person job - thanks dad. :th:

Used some scotch tape to help hold the square blocks in place. Black tape is too thick.

With the adjustable frame plate mod, I was able to equalize the gap on either side of the steering shaft to header tubes - it isn't much. :x

Prop valve bracket threads are M8 but tap out nicely to 5/16-18 for new bolts.

The master now sits one inch forward but I was able to bend the lines to fit. Car still has all it's original brake lines. 8)

Thanks guys! A lot to do yet...

Got my new brake booster hooked up. The round thing is a charcoal filter. It is there to soak up any gas or oil vapours and keep them from getting to the rubber booster diaphragm. It is supposed to be mounted vertically so the vapours are spread across the filter evenly.

Added a wing to my throttle cable bracket made from a shelf bracket that happened to be the right thickness.

I like the older steering wheel design better than the 79 two spoke.

My turn signal switch was split in the handle mount area so grabbed a new one.

Remove the two nuts and drop the column down, remove 4 bolts from bracket, makes it much easier to get turn signal switch wires thru.

I like the contrast of the black wheel and red column / horn button and it's different. Dash pad is just sitting there and you can see why I have to repaint it. SEM was mixed wrong :cuss:

The EGR solenoid interfered with air breather operation so moved it off the engine onto a custom bracket I made from 3/32 steel. New rockauto MAP sensor also.

MSD Super Conductor 8.5 mm wires installed. These looms are a bit cumbersome to set up but worth the effort I think. New mini booster gained me the clearance I needed.

It will be interesting to see if those spark plug wires will melt. I had to buy Accel ceramic boot spark plug wires to keep mine from melting on number 3 and 5 cylinders.

Your welcome to come visit anytime Kevin. 8) I'm hoping on making the next Monzaque but I've hoped for that in past years also.

I used Sanderson CC13-AP so 4 & 6 don't seem to be an issue. On the driver's side, #5 is close because of my dipstick tube bracket, may have to change that. Nice of MSD to include a couple extra boots.

Air breather R&R's are a "snap" with these! Had to special order them from the manufacturer to get the M6 threads but Summit has the 1/4-20 ones.

Great idea on the latches, I've used those before on a project and they have a nice feel to them, not to mention how well they hold down.
