Dan ,I was looking for consistancy that the big motor has, not speed .
Look in my garage for the last 2 runs, even with a bad reaction on last Saturday, they are close. ( with a stock convertor)
Both runs were made with the 2.73 gears, the 4.56's ( from the 151 days) were only to test drive the motor around my house to make sure it ran ok " BEFORE " I took it to the track.
Yeah , I could of had a SBC for less , but I don't and I don't freaking care.
My motor cost is $200 included in the total to put it all together only because stuff was missing when i got it .
Look at the 1/4 table , Charlie went slower than I with a mild SBC. Mine is stock from the factory other than the overbore !
Charlie rebuilt his and it uses oil , mine has a slight rod knock . ( easy fix- I've done twice with the 151)
Enough said ?
