..................................... You where on the right path. A low compression 472- 500 still might work with some dieting. Dont know about a turbo 350 holding up but I remember a friend in NY had a 10 sec fiberglass paneled 68 Cutlass - Olds 455 with a turbo 350 that held up so it may be a myth. Still, a 472- 500 weighs less than a SBC. I'm racing again this weekend ( Points Race #5) , I'll see if I can drop the ET a little lower. ( its going to real hot though!

ONLY one that is racing a 425 currently in all of the Cadillac forums that I know of . The other guy in roundy round, blew his up last week and has stepped back from Cadillacs for now.
