Ryan,
You 'da man for tackling this one!
The blaster and the cutter are gonna get a good work out!
If you need any inspiration to continue look no further than here.
A member completely replaced the floor of his Sunbird (I think) - with the help of his significant other! Amazing result.

As I said before on Badsunbird's thread........ I feel really bad for cutting up my parts car, again.
Good luck on your project. Here's the above mentioned thread for inspiration.

i love the rack its gonna add to the sleeper look im looking for. I will be going to work on the car this weekend i did alot of work since those pics i ll take some of the progress. Heres a pic of my fathers wagon he bought it back in 1981 and has been a work in progress ever since it has a 4.1 buick v6, .30 overforged pistons, solid lifter cam, roller rockers, dodge 8 3/4 rear 4.11s, t-5 trans, lakewood bellhousing, frame connectors, best e.t 13.43 @100 mph, its a summer daily driver (bracket raced almost every weekend since 1983). Mine will be a clone except im going with a 3.8 buick v6 and a different colour.(i might go with a turbo not sure yet.)

Good to see another Canadian on here, welcome. I also have a wagon and am trying to decide what to do with it. I am currently thinking along the lines of a 215 v8 and I have another member here trying to sell me a 252v6/TH350 combo for it. I will watch your thread and where you take it. Too bad you are so far away as I know of a non running Vega wagon parts car here that you could use.

"78" Monza Wagon Project

Postby Badsunbird » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:59 pm

Hi Ryan

8) Nice Wagon & Nice project! Looks like you are about to experience alot of what I just went through. I have a few sources for you for floor pan parts if you are interested, I'm not promising anything, but they might be worth checking out. They are here in the U.S. and you can use them as a last resort or whatever you would like since I would imagine shipping isn't that cheap to your location.
I notice in your picture of the pass. side floor board that your transmission cross member mount has been butchered up pretty good. As it just so happens I saved mine off of my old floor pan and they are in great shape and can be reused again if you don't happen to find a floor section with good ones already on it. Just "PM' me and let me know if you might be interested when you get that far along.
I look forward to watching your progress on your build and seeing your updates. Please feel free to contact me if you need any "pointers" during your floor repair if you so choose to use factory floor pieces to fix it. Good Luck & Happy Hunting!

it didnt get butchered when i removed the rug the floor was rotted pretty good and it getting hard to find any h-body up here in good shape so im forced to work with what i got. I was looking around for some of the parts i need with no luck i am interested in what you got. i would like it to look as close to factory as i can get it. This is what i was going to do i got most of it blasted and cut away heres where i am at as of today. the cars at my fathers house he as the space and tools to do it.
