Nice.
What color is that?

Hey, I just looked in your garage. You've done a lot already. Tell us all about it. 8)

The color is sunset pearlescent from the mitsibishi eclipse. The car started out as an original 26000 mile 4 cylinder car. I have done much, but there is much left to do. Seems one of the biggest obstacles to overcome with these cars is finding the parts you want and making the parts you can find work

Great color choice. I've been thinking along the same lines.

I rebuilt the turbo 350 and i put in a 355 i had in my fullsize chevy truck for 1000 miles. It moved the full size 44 around pretty good so I think it should be a good time. Still deciding on what to do with the non-posi rearend. How do the powerrax units hold up?

I have a 2000 camaro posi in mine with 3.73 gears and 28 spline S10 axles. It holds up very well so far. You can talk to Jim (monzaz) on the forums here. He is very knowledgable and very good to deal with. He is across the border in Ohio. He should be able to answer your questions on the rearend.

Thanks for the input. Put gas tank torque and dive shaft in today. Still working on interior. I got a carpet from ACC and do not like the way it is fitting so far. Also took a few more pictures.

The ACC carpet is not the best fit, at least for 75's. I have a hunch they use the same carpet for all years despite the fact that the 75's have a different floorpan. The do not run up far enough on the firewall and the holes they punch are in the wrong position. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a carpet for 75's?

Postby skizer » Mon Sep 07, 2009 8:30 pm

I finally got around to making my alternator bracket. Could not use the original one for the air because I will be running the vortech heads and intake

Weather finally broke. Finally go car running, glass in and some of the trim painted and assembled. Should be on the road this summer. I am getting excited to see how everything goes. Can't wait to take it for a ride. Still have to finish up brakes, exhaust and tires. Oh yes, and work out the many bugs I am sure I will encounter. PS sorry for the dirty car no car cover yet.
