love your Vega,, I have the original one(k-member) if you need it? I look every time at the engine compartment, I try to find room for turbo/turbos, I have a friend that has a diesel shop that has several turbo's to try to mount in there? I have even thought of mounting one in the rear? I think a BW s400 or a pair of Grand National turbo's would be cool and mount better???? what are you thinking of using for turbo/turbo's? Tinker

I have a single 61mm that came with a engine I bought. A guy started building it and didn't have a car for it just didn't want to put any more money in it and just was done a wanted out. As I was leaving he just gave me a 350th with a 2800 stall and boxes and boxes of parts. He was nice guy who had a growing family and knew his dollars probably should go other places. But for a trans I'm going with a powerglide with trans brake 5000 8" stall. I don't know if I have the ability to pull this off but I am a pretty good problem solver and I know there is going to be a lot of problems. If all else fails I have another short block i'll toss the turbo and go pro street. One of the cool thing about the car interior the dash is stock with all gauges in great shape great carpet and headliner there is a lot of ways to go with the car. But if all works it will have a 78MM turbo if all goes well with the 61MM.

of the k-member with 3/16 flat stock.

I raised the motor about 1" and made the trans crossmember work from the trans-dapt crossmember by shorting
it by about 2",, still have to add another set of bolt holes for it, but for now the motor/trans is setting in the car. I bought 1 3/4 weld-up header kit from Summit racing(99 bucks shipped). I have some universal steering joints
coming so I can make the steering work again :censored: .. little by little,,,I might get it driveable by 2020
