Cool. I was going to mention the same things about structural integrity. Then I figured you'd be crunching on that already. Turns out you were. No big surprise. I love the idea. Especially allowing room to squat the car down pretty far. How are you going to balance the two sides?

Having side exits that don't hit the deck is going to be a challenge for me. I was thinking of getting some of that flat oval stuff.

Balance as in h pipe? Both sides will be independent of each other. I was going to use oval tubing and nascar type boom tubes angled out to the sides, but I would just prefer to have nothing in the way under the car. I might even do a full belly pan. Contact Boyce engineering for the oval tubing. Way cheaper than spin tech.

Have not done much, but I did finally get my my hubs made. Just bought some new Raybestos(no chinese crap) g body rotors and had them turned down. Now I have to have the stud holes enlarged to take a bigger stud. I wanted to go to a 5x5 pattern but there just isn't enough room. Thanks to Ken at FIRST Fuel Injection for the machine work. If you want a TPI setup, he is the guy to talk to.

Bitchin'. Good idea. It is actually not that expensive to have minor custom machining done if you find a buddy willing to shop it out. I was lucky enough to find a guy like that. He owns a small shop and makes parts for FAST injections. He was showing me a FAST nitrous fogger for under the throttle body. Pretty cool.

The best part is when they do it for free! I am sure I'll have to pay him for the next project though.

I have a question,, when you turned down the hubs, then install the rotor,, does it put the wheel/tire further out away from the original postition?

The brand is Northern and it is 27x19.5. Very affordable piece and looks good too. I should move those rad pics to my journal. Maybe I'll do that.

Yes it does. How much will be determined by what hats I go with. It is not a concern of mine as Whatever wheels I use will be custom offset anyway so I never bothered to check how more they would stick out over stock.

When it comes to front suspension geometry , like Sergeant Schultz " I know nothing " .
In pic 007 is that a 71 - 73 valance and thats how much the support bracket would show ?
In pic 012 that bolt is so you can lower it more ? I like the radiator moved forward , did you block off the filler cap ? Can that radiator be had with two 1.25" rows and shorter to hide it more ?
I like all you guys tearing into the front like that , gives me more ideas .

I believe that valance is the 74-77 style

That is a 74-77 valance. The car is a 75. As for the fill cap, I removed it and welded up the opening. The rad is no more than a 1/2 inch from the bottom of the header panel. Have to use a surge tank. I believe all the Northern radiators are 1" tubes and they do make them in about every possible size and configuration you can think of. As for the bolt in pic 12, I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't see any bolts in pic 12. The radiator will be mounted just as you see it.

I see now , in 003 two bolts in corner suport , in 012 the bottom bolt isn't in , don't know why I thought you would want to raise or lower it .
