I shouldn't have to worry too much about the Armstrongs; John only runs in the Super/Stock series and Alan hasn't made a pass in Atlantic Canada for 15 years. Thinking about taking my engine to them in the spring for some dyno time after I make some improvements.
Here's a couple of pics of the racers whom I do have worry about, and one of them is even an H-body! These 2 guys are the ones you have to beat if you want to go rounds; the Monza was locally built 20+ years ago by it's present owner's late father as a C/EA car and has a small block and a 'Glide. Capable of mid 9's, it spends most of it's time throttle stopped down to 10.90 for heads-up racing. The T-Bird was also locally built a few years ago by it's owner; it's super light with a full tube chassis, Pro Stock 'glass body panels and an old-school 480+ cube FE Ford motor- 427 block with 428 crank. It's deadly consistent and runs low 9's.
