tracy if youwant to give that pump a little boost(little more pressure) Moroso makes a spring that you put in there and it boosts pressure(slight bit of noise) i use 2 of those same pumps(with separate switches) on my drag car. good luck art

I use a regulator no matter what pump is installed. And yes, I already have one of the nos Holley regulators from the 70's.

Been working on customers cars more than mine. But have been able to get the fuel pump and filter mounted, fabricated the larger fuel line, and installed the electronics.
I'll get some pictures up sometime. We are leaving in the morning to go to Florida for vacation. Hope to go see Danny and get a ride in his car while I'm down there. :th:

Thanks.
I'll keep it clean for a little while. But after that, I'm going to drive the wheels off of it.

Finally got time to take the engine down to Performance Automotive's dyno today. We should be able to run it next week. :D

The factory L88's were around 430 h.p. and 460 tq.
The heads are L88 prepped by Lee Shepard and the camshaft is a hyd. roller, ground to the equivalent of the L88 profile.
That being said, I am hoping for 500 h.p. and 525 tq. Everyone is saying I am under estimating the combo, but I would rather be pleasantly surprised, instead of disappointed.

We finally ran the engine today.
606 h.p. @ 5800 rpm, 582 ft. lbs. @ 5000.

Carbs were spot on and the dual point Mallory worked great.
