tracy: finding a set of those heads (unmolested) is like hitting the lottery. dont sell the new oval port heads short. they make more power than the original ls-6 heads like yours, and they are completely streetable and will; let you make all the rpms and power you will ever need.Hope to see some new pics and videos of tour nice vega. art

Will pick up the engine this week and hopefully get it in after we open up the new shop location. :D

Anyone know what happened to this car? This was one of my favorite builds.

It was on Craigslist awhile ago. Asking price I think was about $19,000. I have a copy of the add somewhere on my computer. My wife told me I couldn’t buy it

I may be wrong but the car I saw on craigslist was complete running with a small block. That car is/was his friends. Are you sure it was this car?

So much attention detail and hard work. Surely it was finished, it was so close. I know a guy locally that's been gathering parts a long time to build a clone. Some of those items are very hard to come by.

Hey guys.
I’m finally getting to work on the car again. There is some kind of issue with my old account and I can’t sign in. Hopefully it will be resolved, but until then, I’ll have to post under this account.
Sorry I left everything hanging on this project. Hope to get things back on track.
Currently working on all the fuel lines and other plumbing.

Made a fuel filter bracket from some stainless sheeting. Trying to make it look like something GM could have made. Coated the bracket in Plasti-dip for a more authentic look.

Made this mounting stud by welding a 5/16 and 7/16 bolt together. Spun it down in the lathe. Going to black oxide the piece for a factory look

Found a pair of early, nos, 4150 fuel bowls. Now the 450’s are dual feed. Also added the Marshall pressure gauges.
