Thanks Art,
I should be able to give you a better idea here in a few weeks as to ET, had it out 1 time/3 laps and had some issues to sort out over the winter. the motor is stock and rated around 295HP I am thinking hi 12's in this car as it is, future HP improvements will come. Motor is good for about 500HP at the crank with a turbo bone stock. Have done a few more things over this winter to the car and track opens next week weather permitting.

Cool readouts for the instruments, is that just a tablet plugged into the OBD port running your software?

I am interested in doing something like that for my car, was thinking about an Ipad mini.

Killer car/project/engineering.

This is an android, i do not have an obd port (it is not an OEM engine management system). There is no wire that plugs in to this one to communicate keeps it cleaner.

but if you can hook something up its a great idea, to be able to change gauge clusters and scroll through is really a nice feature!

I am really interested in your display, is it possible to do something similar using obd2 data port. What software package is that? Or is that for megasquirt?

I went to your website but didn't see any information about this?

thanks

This software is called shadow dash MS and works on android phones and tablets etc, it is from efi analytics the same developer of tuner studio and megalogviewer which is heavily used by the megasquirt circles. I will say his tuning software and all of his software is very user friendly and works excellent.

You may take a look at this product from innovate and see if this would work with your application, I know a person who has one and really likes it.

i swapped the motor for one i picked up for cheap and made a few upgrades/cosmetic improvements:

- Valve cover brackets removed and installed an npt bung for the vac pump AN fitting
- new 'custom' evac system separator (black canister bolted to front of valve cover)
- hillbilly port job (dont ask)
- swapped the rust coating on headers for an experimental DIY coating (so far working good)
- eliminated remote filter setup for 90 degree adapter
- Billet water pump block off, billet EGR block off
- Painted block

the block color is close to the same aluminum color but with a little bit of gloss and resistant to oil, chemicals and cleans up really good. I found the cast block difficult to keep clean and looking good
