Check with local (residential and commercial) glass and window shops. Most around here stock plastic sheet.
Remember that Lexan is a brand name for a polycarbonate product.

Well, i have wires running everywhere....... I skipped the plan of using a ford EDIS and wasted spark.... going to try and take control of full sequential ignition and fuel, as well as the cam (VVT)

I have also set up COP (coil on plug) with some pretty stout coils.

Ha... its coming along, nice and slow as is typical of my projects LOL

The devil is in the details as they say, at the point where i am doing lots of work and the visual progress looks the same. Throttle cables, pedals, driveline, pinion yoke, more wiring, engine management..... its killing me to have this thing sitting in the garage rather than on the track!

Well.... the headers are loud and blue (at least the parts that are bare and no rust) She sounds pretty angry. Just got my driveline this week and bent up my driveline tunnel this morning..... still lots of work to be done but from a functional standpoint its pretty close... now the painful paint and body work process should start in the next few weeks.

Haha True, but I think it all sucks, too much work! and there is about 80 billion square inches of surface to cover since the whole interior will get painted with all the tubes and all plus all the 4 link stuff and engine area…………. On the flip side this is the Junk Yard Dog and will be getting a really nice paint job. Its being painted by a place called “in my driveway”. It will get painted up real nice, the goods all showed up yesterday, let the fun begin

There is nothing left to take off this car..... I was able to pull engine trans, fuel system, wiring harness drive line, rear end, front suspension, cooling system in about 4 hours total by myself. Not to bad, now i know why made the the nose/fuel cell/radiator all quick release LOL

So now the deed is done, she received her new coat in my driveway today after 15 hours of messing around. I have made an inward commitment that this is my last build.... I plan to start the reassembly process which i hope should be pretty quick, and then put some lexan windows in.... I

The whole interior is painted and i calculated 80 zillion square inches painted of tubes etc. the outside is in primer. I considered putting a nice paint job on it but that would exceed the value of the car and when i beat it up I want to smile rather than cry.... so I did figure out a pretty cheap and easy way to paint without a paint booth for the guy on a budget.....
