Update for today -

I took off the truck oil pan and installed the F-body pan. I found the flywheel looks to come stock with the extension needed for the old style torque convertor.

I also found a car intake for sale locally that I'll pick up in the next couple days.

I'm going to start cleaning it and I'm going to paint it. What color? Corporate blue or Olds blue? What other olds colors did they use?

lol! I made some baby steps today. I replaced the broken drivers side door handle. Nice easy 30 minute job. Would of been faster if I hadn't got my arm stuck in the door. :bang:

The SX is a nice option to have. It allowed my old 77 SX to take on ramp cloverleafs at 50-60 MPH. 8)

Congrats on a great project!

Congrats on a great project!

Thanks,
Good to know it handles well. I'd like to get some aftermarket 16" x 7" Olds Rallye wheels SSII's with some good tires, replace the bushings and see how it does in the local autocross.

I had a Starfire GT that handled GREAT! I could run away from a buddy with a V8 Spyder and Sister with a V8 Monza in the curves, course they caught up fast in a straight of any kind, but the better handling sure made it a good run.

Not much progress, actually none. i was in an accident that totalled my Chevy Celebrity. I have some neck and back injuries and haven't had the ability to work on my car. I was rearended by someone that didn't even try to stop. No skid marks at all.
