Now that is a cool tip...I was looking for something like that for my car...very nice car..I was looking back through the photos, your tank filler neck is like mine, so what fuel cell/tank do you have in your car?

Thx, I actually hand built the tank to fit the car so I could run my filler neck like this. I never really looked to much at the stock tank but with a little fab work you could probably cut the rear pan and run it up and out the tail light panel. I looked for pix of the fab work but, I'm a slacker when it came to documenting all this so I don't reAlly have much to show you guys on the filler neck.

You got great faberication skills....I am using a 1966 Mustang GTR fuel cell, it sits right in the middle of the rails...

Update, I got the impala outa the garage so I decided to redo the exhaust on the car, I'm dam sure it was too restrictive, as with the new stuff it runs 10x better. And pulls even harder in 4th. :). I started at the muffler and ran 4" all the way to the back.

Is that an Appleton rack? What are the little F1 mirrors. Those look actually pretty good. I was trying to see how you handled the back "frame" along the base of the hatch. Did you just gusset the existing unibody members or did you bury an additional steel tube back there?

How did you deal with the vent manifold at the base of the windshield? I was going to modify the bottom of the existing one that would endup above the back of the motor to just stretch over the engine but I sorta like how that looks with all of that just removed.

Thanks man.

What made you mount the upper rod ends at the top of the rear end....on the verticle plane instead of on the horizontal?

Did this cause any issue?

it was a trick bracket I found at Ruffstuff.com. There primarily into crawler stuff so there idea behind it is to make the rod end last longer in that position, as I was told. Instead of a side load it puts the rod end in the better load bearing position. I guess. Works great really. Went out Sunday night and climbed on the throttle pretty hard in fifth and with one more gear to go it pulled past 140 with no issues, up around 5k and was still pullin like a freight train. :th:

Hey Snowman,
Have you had your car out on the road yet?
I have another question is a two part...I noticed in the pictures that yu are running helms joints in the rear, are you running helm joints in the front suspension? if so, how is your ride?

Yes sir i drive the car most every day. Although using e85 has proven to be a pain in my side but it's worth it. On the front suspension, it's using stock inner control arm bushings, polyurethane of course. The only heims up front are on the steering. The car rides real well, it is using coilovers on all for corners as you've seen so it has a fairly aggressive ride, up front are 425lbs springs and using 300 in the rear, mostly because of the angle of the coilovers creates a lot of deflection and I turn needs more spring rate.
