I just picked this up today. It's a '76 Astre Notchback. And it's my second H-Body. I'm just finishing up an extensive restoration on an '80 Sunbird. I wasn't even looking for another project ... got my hands full already. At some point I want to get started on my '61 Dodge Rat Rod. But this popped up just down the road from me and it was cheap. So I paid the guy and drove it home.

Nice! Those are my favorite body style of Astre. What are the plans for it?

Not sure about plans ... gotta finish up the '80 Sunbird first. My daughter will be needing a car. Since I have given both of my son's a car and my ex-wife pitches in zippo, this little Astre may just get a freshening up and a paint job so she can have it. Heck, who knows ... I may end up liking the Astre more than my Sunbird ... Nah, that can't happen.
