What's up guys neat site you have here! Well my dad looks to have purchased "Norcalace" 72 Vega GT. What a cool little car it is! Here is the basic specs on it when he got it.

350 sbc

After enjoying the car for a bit and taking a ride in my 69 Pops decided it was time for more power! So we picked up a nice 406 sbc from a friend of mine. Here are the specs.

406 sbc
Scat 4340 Forged crank
Scat 4340 6" H beam rods

I think those sandersons will be holding it back on the topend. Have you/he done anything to the S10 rear?

I agree the headers will hurt top end a bit but its a 99% street car. Still should make good power. The rear end is all stock I believe but car is on slippery 235 bfg ta's right now so will never hook. Once the drag radials go on then will look into some upgrades.

Street car wuth 11:1 compression, must be aluminum heads. Might be pushing the limit for pump gas

Yeah aluminum heads and cam has a decent amount of overlap. If needed will pull a touch of timing out.
