Hey Harry It was the biggest victory of all. I drove to Summit to purchase a helmet and then the event and then drove home. Tested tough now.

Still have a loss of fuel pressure when it gets hot but my fuel return line (aka the charcoal vent line) is clogged and not actually allowing fuel to return so will probably have to remove it and replace it with something new. But it's running really well the jet changes, up 8 sizes, really helped to wake it up.

I have a friend just finishing up an LS1 swap into a 64 Chevy II that wants to take his car to the dyno so I hope to do that again soon. Hopefully with the new jetting it will make a little more power.

I got a gopro camera so I could take some videos of the suspension and other things.

Here's a short video I took of the rear suspension to test the camera out.

And here's a short video of the passenger side front suspension just driving the same loop.

Lowered the car a bit front and rear and removed the steering stops on the front lower control arms so
it doesn't have the turning radius of a dump truck.

Will probably lower it more in the back to level it out more.

Yes I have seen people using them for so many things I decided to get one. I was wanting to use it to record the A/F gauge for
instance, to see when its rich lean etc so I don't have to look at it and can concentrate on driving.

So far so good, looking forward to using it at the next event. I also found a free app called Track Addict which records track segments and G forces
using an Iphone. So I will have that running as well next time. Maybe can figure out if I am making improvements or not. That's the goal anyway.

Now get back to work on that art work in your garage!

Interesting use for the smartphone accelerometer chips!

Just about done with the wiper modules, had to work out a couple of anomalies. Back to the restomod shortly. Thanx.

Vega is looking great but I agree, a little lower in the rear needed now.

Thanks man I lowered it a little more in the back to get it more leveled out.

Measures 24.25 inches from ground to center line of fender in front and 24.5 inches in the rear.

Really tricky to get in and out my driveway with it this low, exhaust drags pretty bad.

Hey Rick,
'Dozer that driveway........ you gotta keep the pipes!
At least until I can hear them at the Cruisin' the Smokies event. I gotta get a ride, too. Love me some side pipes.

I raised the back up a little and have some taller front tires on the way so that should put me high enough to make it in and out of
my driveway.

I hope I don't blow it up at the Summit Auto Rama, that's going to be two days of probably as much as 25-30 laps each day if wanted.
Assuming I make it to pigeon forge for sure you can ride and drive it, maybe see how fast you can make it through the cones.

I know I am not fast but the car could be? Still it's only 200 hp how fast can it be.

I had ordered some 245/35/18 tires from ebay the other day and they came in so I got them installed and took the car on my "test track" to see how they did.

On these two corners in the video, with the smaller tires, when I tried to accelerate into the corner or in the middle of the corner the front end would lift and
then push really bad. So notice in this video when I accelerated in the corner the rear end came out rather than the front coming unglued. Progress!

I also got into a little one on one action with and Audi TT. There was too much traffic which was a good thing he would have cleaned my clock ! Gonna
have to fix that.

Finally got some videos a friend took a year ago at the drag strip results were disappointing to say the least.

The car is totally different now I need to take it back and see what it runs now.
