Thanks Waybad, if you or anyone else has any helpful suggestions or comments I greatly appreciate them! This weekend my son came out from the city and was a major help in getting the engine mocked up in the car so we could see what does and does not fit [yet lol]. To make a long story short the engine fits [mostly] but the headers interfere with the crossmember under the engine and will have to be replaced. I tried trimming a corner off of it on the drivers side and just managed to get that side bolted up. I'm not sure if this is being caused by the heads which have raised exhaust ports or if that's just the way these headers fit. The passenger side is a definite no go with the crossmember on the car as it misses the bolt holes in the head by about 3 inches!
When I can get back into Fort McMurray I can pick up my tube bender and build a new crossmember which hopefully will sort these problems out. We also tried the radiator and I think that it will be able to be mounted behind the rad bulkhead in a mostly normal location as long as the lower part of the bulkhead is cut out and I install a lower tubular crossmember. I am posting some pictures of our adventure today.
